Thank you for your interest in our firm. At Tezcan Uysal Attorney Partnership (“TUO”), we place great importance on the protection of your personal data and its processing in compliance with the applicable data protection legislation. Please read the information notice below carefully before submitting your job application.
Pursuant to the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“Law”), any information that identifies or makes you identifiable constitutes personal data. Acting as the data controller, TUO obtains your personal data such as identity details (name, surname and date of birth), contact information (e-mail address and phone number), educational background (degree, school, department), the practice area you apply for, as well as other personal data contained in your CV or cover letter through your job application.
We will process your personal data by automated means, based on your explicit consent, for the purposes of evaluating your application, managing our recruitment processes, contacting you and organizing interviews. We do not transfer your personal data to any third parties either in Turkey or abroad. Depending on the position you apply for, your personal data will be retained for a period of one to two years and will be deleted once such period expires. Therefore, it is important that you re-submit your CV for future openings.
In accordance with Article 11 of the Law, you are entitled to the following rights regarding the processing of your personal data:

- •If processed, to request information in this respect,
- •To learn the purpose of the processing and whether it is used in accordance with such purpose,
- •To know the third parties to whom your personal data is transferred, whether within Turkey or abroad,

- •To request notification to third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred regarding your rectification, deletion or destruction requests,
- •To object to any outcome against you resulting from the analysis of your personal data exclusively through automated systems,
- •To claim compensation in case you incur damages due to the unlawful processing of your personal data.

Communication permission is not required. You can always withdraw the communication permission you have given without giving any reason. It is not obligatory to obtain permission from message recipients who are merchants or artisans before sending messages.
